In 1990, Bob’s legacy was further strengthened when his son, Noel, joined the firm. Under Noel’s leadership, Bob Slatter Advisory continued to uphold the high standards of excellence and integrity that have been the cornerstone of our business. Taking over the reins in 2004 upon Bob’s retirement, Noel drove the company forward, expanding our expertise and cementing our reputation as a leader in the Short-Term Insurance industry.
In 2020, the business embarked on a new chapter when it was acquired by Tyrone Mc Duling, who has committed to continuing the Slatter legacy. Tyrone retains the same vision Bob Slatter had back in 1988, ensuring that our values of client success, strategic insight, and actionable solutions remain at the heart of our operations. At Bob Slatter Insurance Advisory, we pride ourselves on our deep-rooted commitment to delivering exceptional advisory services that make a tangible difference in the protection of our clients’ insurable assets.
WHAT WE DO
We do Personal and Commercial Short-Term Comprehensive Insurance, personally.
Bob Slatter Insurance Advisory clients have a clear preference. They prefer not to talk to machines, but to a person. They prefer not to lodge claims with a Call Centre where they must hang-on or redial when the call gets dropped and where they are just a number in a queue. They prefer to have their annual policy review discussed with them rather than receiving an impersonal mail with an increased premium and no explanation. When they have an insurance query, they prefer to talk to someone who is service orientated, available and knowledgeable.
Bob Slatter Insurance Advisory clients prefer to have one person who they know, who they can speak to whenever the need arises and who will handle all claims end to end, personally.

Bob Slatter uses practice management and business intelligence services that achieve results and ensure that we stay relevant and compliant to the ever changing financial services industry legislation landscape, both now and in the future. This affiliation has been very successful over the years culminating in Bob Slatter Insurance Advisory being awarded the FAIS Seal of Compliance.
This seal provides our customers with peace of mind, knowing that the accredited independent financial advisor (IFA) who displays this seal has been evaluated on the regulatory requirements set out by the Financial Services Conduct Authority, and has achieved an excellent standard of compliance.
Accreditation is re-evaluated every year and use of the seal is only renewed if the IFA maintains its high standard of compliance. The seal signifies that Bob Slatter follows strict processes and procedures to comply with FAIS legislation. It also communicates to our clients that we operate a reputable practice that delivers service of a certain compliant standard.
Bob Slatter Insurance Advisory was awarded the FAIS Compliant Seal in 2023 and continues to meet the requirements to qualify again in 2024.

Masthead verifies that based on the monitoring conducted, the FSP has consistently maintained a high level of compliance with the procedures as prescribed in the FAIS Act (37) of 2002. This verification is subject to annual review and Masthead retains the right to withdraw the usage thereof at any time.
